US diplomats don't want to be posted to Iraq. I say we close the embassy

Jaun Cole has pointed out closing the embassy is a clever move and one the right wing, which hates the state department, could not oppose. He suggests we make this a blog movement, and I agree.

The whole freaking country is in a state of chaos. So what are all these diplomats doing. I'd like to know how many of those guys are actual diplomats and how many of them are oil executives....

4. Since the government has never been fully established, how

do they even know that the Iraqis will want to have diplomatic relations with us. They could kick us out, and all that money would be wasted.
