And that's why we must bomb Canada
President Bush compared Congress' Democratic leaders Thursday with people who ignored the rise of Lenin and Hitler early in the last century, saying "the world paid a terrible price" then and risks similar consequences for inaction today.

You know excuse me for doubting, but you said Saddam had WMDs and plans to use them on the US. He didn't. Basically if in the 1930s the Dems had spent their time invading Antarctica to stop the spread of Nazi Germany then you might have a point. Oh and another factoid it was Republicans in Congress that didn't want us in WWII not the Democratic president. The same Republicans that Nazi war records show were taking bribes from the Nazi’s. As for ignoring Lenin, you know that they did have a valid excuse. There was this little thing called WWI going on at the time that was occupying a lot of people’s attention. Repeat after me inaction is greater than stupid action.

The US economy is in a rut, and so is the president's approval rating. What we need is a good war, but the Russians aren't interested. Hey -- how about that big polite country to the north? Niagara Fall Sheriff Bud B. Boomer takes this all a bit too seriously, though..

7. Yes and the arguments used against Canada in that movie are
sound a lot like what was done before Bush invaded Iraq. The movie even has the media banging war drums.

3. One person who didn't "ignore Hitler" was Prescott Bush and made in a mint in the process
of not ignoring him. Trading With The Enemy I believe is the term used.

Is that why we sent troops to the newly formed USSR to fight alongside the White Russians in the Bolshivek Revolution?

11. Another factoid
American Forces did land on Mother Russia in 1917 and assisted the forces under the command of Alexandr Kerensky, the White Army.

Just one of them little factoids most Ameircans do not know

But russians have not forgotten...

12. He's right.
"President Bush compared Congress' Democratic leaders Thursday with people who ignored the rise of Lenin and Hitler early in the last century, saying "the world paid a terrible price" then and risks similar consequences for inaction today."

Except in this analogy, he's Hitler.

(Thanks for the slow-pitch, Shrub. That one was way too easy.)
