Even the most inept freshman CIA agent would have been skeptical..
about this Curveball yahoo it seems to me. Yet we supposedly based going to war on his "faulty" intelligence. What a crock!

2. It's obvious they were lies..
the hard part is proving that they *knew* they were lies. It's just inexplainable for Tenet to pick this up and run to Powell with it unless he was cooking the intelligence.

3. Cheney was going to CIA and pressuring them to change reports. Intel analysts are on record about
this.

Tenet told Congress that even if Saddam had nukes, he'd be unlikely to use them unless he was in danger of being overthrown or killed.

4. There are mounds of circumstantial evidence..
what we need is the smoking gun, somebody to come out and say, I knew this wasn't true, but I passed it on anyway. There's too much plausible deniability, much like the case of the Plame outing.
