President Bush Previews War on Terror Speech
Oval Office
9:35 A.M. EDT

... Q What is your own view about waterboarding?

THE PRESIDENT: I'm not going to talk about techniques. There is an enemy out there. I don't want them to understand -- to be able to adjust one way or the other. My view is this: The American people have got to understand the program is important and the techniques used are within the law, and members of the House and Senate know what I'm talking about, they have been fully briefed.

Q Do you think the Congress has forgotten we're at war, Mr. President?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, I think there is a tendency for people to say, well, maybe -- let me just say, there are some who say, don't call this a war on terror. And there are some who have accused me of using the words "war on terror" as a way to frighten people into voting booths. And I emphasize the word "some." As I'll say in this speech, those who say we're not in a war on terror are either disingenuous or naive. Either way, the attitude is dangerous because I will have quoted the words of the enemy in the speech, an enemy that said, we're going to come and kill you.

7. Someone's giving gay blowjobs at night in the Imperial Palace Again
Edited on Thu Nov-01-07 12:23 PM by tom_paine
NOTE TO HOMOSEXUAL DUERS: There is nothing inherently wrong with gay blowjobs and gay anything else as long as it's two or more consenting adults and no one gets hurt, it's when closeted gay haters are gay that it is disgusting. The hypocrisy, the loathesome Orwellian hypocrisy, not the homosexuality, is being attacked here.

You think Dick Cheney is particularly mean and hurtful when he rams it up Gannon's <REDACTED>?

Oh, I'll bet Cheney loves leaving his Gannons in tears when they leave the room. It probably nourishes his black heart.

8. I do not understand when
he says he does not want the enemy to adjust to our techniques?

How to adjust to waterboarding? Grow gills?

How do you adjust to electrodes the nuts?

How do you adjust to fingernails being pulled off, or feet hit with a sledgehammer, or dog bites, or sleep deprivation, or bidy parts being cut off.

I would like to see him adjust to that kind of stuff.

He must be back on the columbian white powder.

9. What he doesn't seem to understand is the history of these techniques and why they were used in the
first place. The tactics we employ regularly now were developed in the SERE program.

The SERE program was designed to teach our soldiers how to withstand torture techniques that were used on them by the Chinese and North Koreans during the Korean War. The techniques were used on our soldiers because it made them lose touch with reality enough to make false statements during propaganda messages. The SERE program was developed to help soldiers withstand the torture and "return with honor" which is the slogan of the program if I recall correctly.

The Dubya group decided it would be good to get SERE trainers who only knew the techniques that the program taught.

So in other words, the techniques being used to get "intelligence" now are based on breaking down a human's reality and forcing them to make false statements against their own will.

10. Can this idiot EVER get through a complete sentence
without breaking off a hundred times into an "aside"? Condi does it a lot, too. Of course they're NOT being dummies - it's one of the devices they use to avoid giving a straight and truthful answer...
