Should "forced diplomats" receive hazard pay if required to serve in Iraq?

It's nothing short of conscription, imho. We're now paying huge sign-on bonuses to new recruits, and even huger bonuses to re-up. Being forced into a combat zone seems to me to be a bit above and beyond the call. I understand that they sign on with the Diplomatic Corp with the understanding that they could get stationed anywhere, but these people are needed (??) in Iraq because BushCo cannot even find enough members within its own ranks to fill the position. What the hell does that say about how well we're doing, and the validity of the mission?

I hope they all tell Condi and Bush to FUCK OFF. Diplomatically, of course.

That those in uniform don't have, the civilians can quit. If they don't want to go to Iraq, then quit and find another job, it's that simple!
