Fun with online president selectors
Edited on Thu Nov-01-07 08:40 AM by Fighting Irish
I decided to kill a little time and take one of those little online president selectors. Here's what I found...

SelectSmart (http://www.selectsmart.com):

1.Theoretical Ideal Candidate (100%)
2.Dennis Kucinich (77%)
3.Barack Obama (75%)
4.Christopher Dodd (72%)
5.Alan Augustson (campaign suspended) (71%)
6.Wesley Clark (not running, endorsed Clinton) (70%)
7.Joseph Biden (70%)
8.Hillary Clinton (68%)
9.Al Gore (not announced) (68%)
10.John Edwards (68%)
11.Michael Bloomberg (says he will not run) (59%)

Curiously, this one put Stephen Colbert dead last, right below Gingrich, Hunter and Tancredo.

Meanwhile, another one (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/poll.php?race_id=13) says I have more in common with Hillary Clinton:

Hillary Clinton 22.0
John Edwards 20.0
Chris Dodd 19.0
Barack Obama 19.0
Joe Biden 17.0
Dennis Kucinich 16.0
Bill Richardson 15.0
Mike Gravel 12.0
Rudy Giuliani 11.0
Mitt Romney 7.0

It also puts Tancredo at 0.0 on my list, right below Fat Fred.

FYI: I currently have no horse in the race (since neither Gore nor Feingold are running), but am currently favoring Edwards. I don't care for Clinton, as I view her as a corporate suck-up and a cold robot. That's just my opinion, though.
