Does anyone know how many Foreign Service officers are W. Bush appointees?

Is there a list of names somewhere?

I ask because of this:

I know there are many, many career Foreign Service officers who are nothing but excellent; Joe Wilson was Bush Sr.'s man in Iraq before the Gulf war, for one example.

But I'm also curious about the level of hoist-on-own-petard happening out there among Bush-supporters-turned-appointees because of this Iraq thing.

1. I don't know. But there might be a clue.

Doing a search, I found that the previous Bush appointed a few people who were from a list of campaign donors. The 100,000 dollar club. That might be a way of tracking them down.

But I suppose the point is that an Indiana market in the summer time is not the same as a death sentence. Something doesn't add up. Although I'm sure they could find a way of adding them up.

Sorry. I'm not much help. But it's interesting in that there must be an end in sight. Hopefully before leaving office.
