So, he will NOT be on the Republican Presidential Ballot (in South Carolina)!

But, he did file the $2,500.00 dollar filing fee to be on the Democratic Primary Ballot, so have fun South Carolina Colbert Report Fans!

1. Yippee! Confetti!
There is still the ambiguity of whether he is really a Dem at heart. You know, it could simply be the conservative talking. We'll never know...

2. Well, either Colbert or Comedy Central need to pony up the $35,000...
if they don't, he's not a satirist, but just a spoiler

3. You REALLY think he'll get more that 5% of the Democratic Primary vote in S. Carolina?
I seriously doubt he'll have any real effect and even if he did, South Carolina isn't going to decied this thing.

Personally, I'm glad, I know I wouldn't be able to bring myself to pay The Republican Party $35,000.00 dollars, even if I had the money to blow on a joke.
