Johnathan Goodwin can get 100 mpg out of a Lincoln Continental, cut emissions by 80%, and double the horsepower.

For another gas turbines are notorious fuel hogs. That is why there are no gas turbine powered cars tooling around the streets.
And as for backing up to a restaurant for their used fry oil/grease, it has to be purified first. Something one is not likely to do on board because of time and power restraints. This whole article wreaks of BS!

2. If you read correctly...
he's only using the turbine motor for a short amount of time to recharge the batteries for the electric motors.
