Alleged Internet Predator Arrested At Statehouse

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A suspected child predator was arrested at the Ohio Statehouse Wednesday morning.

An officer was testifying before a committee on Senate Bill 183, which would increase penalties for sexual predators who meet their victims online, 10TV News reported.

The officer left the hearing after telling reporters that he had arranged a meeting with Barry Mentser, an alleged Internet predator who thought he was meeting a young girl who was at the Statehouse on a field trip.

Mentser (pictured, right), 48, was arrested outside the Statehouse cafeteria, 10TV News reported.
