College Republicans and "Illegal Immigrant Football"

Has anyone else heard of this? I was sitting and reading in the Borders in downtown Ann Arbor on Sunday, and this young woman (who sounded like she had about 3 working brain cells) was talking to a couple of University of Michigan students. She was from the statewide Campus Republicans organizing group, and was bitching on and on about how oppressed Republicans were on the U of M campus and how Ann Arbor was a leftist Republican-hating town.
Anyway, she invited the two UM students, who I assume were members of the UM campus Repugs, to take part in the illegal immigrant football game later in the afternoon. In her description of the game, she explained that the losing team would be "deported." :wtf:
I can see that nothing has changed since I was in college in the 1990s. Campus Repugs are still low on the evolutionary ladder.

1. Why are there "college republicans"?

Don't they have a war to fight?

5. Why Playing Football

Why are these Young Republicans playing football? Since the war they support is still going on, they should be going to the recuriting office and signing up for the military. However, I can think of a better idea for the losing team. The team that loses has to join the military.
