Poll question: What to wear when I witness Hillary filing for the NH Primary?
Hillary will be filing Friday in Concord with a rally on the State House lawn afterward.

I've been invited inside with other supporters who I guess line the hallway and shake hands. WooHoo. For this extreme privilege I am humbled but must also skip out on most of a work day in order to be inside before the crowds. My fundie boss said hell yeah, you can't miss that.

I'm planning on wearing the blue blazer, khaki cords, blue shirt and Blue tie.

My normal work wear is jeans, t-shirt and sweater.

My campaign wear is usually jeans or cords and a Hillary Hoodie.

I do own 2 suits. Beige Suit. Grey Suit.

If I had one I might wear a Democratic Underground Hoodie but that's not a choice.

P.S. I'd really appreciate some experienced input in addition to the expected snarks.

I am so glad I'm not a woman!

Until then, the Nazis remain the standard of reference.

12. Do you even see anything remotely wrong with accusing
another DUer of being a Nazi for supporting a candidate you don't like?

I'd ask you the immortal Welch question, but I already know the answer; it's clear you don't have any.

In addition, although I really, really don't want her as President, I think the evidence is that she'd be more of a repeat of Bill, than anything else. That certainly wasn't all good, but it wasn't all bad either.

Calling a DUer a nazi for supporting Clinton is shameful.

9. You REALLY don't want to wear a suit!
The "just another suit" comment says it all.

Sometimes, in some occasions, one simply has to choose the appropriate attire.

Hillary's one of those who moves in the Suitmosphere. Wear the suit. Outward appearances are very important to them.

Wanna wear the Grateful Dead or Bugs Bunny tie? You're following the wrong campaign. That would be utterly unremarkable in Dennis' camp. You could probably even bring your hacky-sack!

(For the record, I'm a Kucinich supporter)

I hope I can move you toward wearing the suit (the gray one, preferably). A nice polish to your dress shoes is always a good idea, too.

I used to be a clotheshorse, back before I went back into radio and it stopped mattering quite so much. Now that we're talking about going to video, however, the "dress-for-success" thingy is cropping back up on the horizon.

The nice thing about mens' fashion is that is has some unchanging elements. Suit styles change from single-breasted to double- and back again, number of buttons on the coat changes, width of lapels and pleats on pants, but overall, there's only so much you can do to a suit. That's why, among men in certain circles (business, politics, law), it's ubiquitous.

Meanwhile, women get whip-sawed by the fashion industry. It's a shell game.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll look great!

I'm glad to see that you are dressing warmly and quite sensibly.

And I LOVE your fashion sense.

Make sure you put some mittens or gloves into the pockets of your hoodie.

And make sure your cell phone is adequately charged.

I hope your shoes are good, sturdy, sensible shoes for standing and walking.
