Who Will the MEDIA say won the debate?
Not who you think (because in the long run, it only seems to matter how the media portrays thing), but who will the media say won the debate tonight. I honestly think they will say Edwards won the debate and Hillary lost. They will say Obama hit some but needs to hit harder and take some pointers from Edwards.

12. Actually, they said he did well, but said in the end Hillary won
this time though, she was attacked from all ends, even the moderators. I see no way they can argue she won.

Mind you, I'm not voting for her in the primaries, but she won the debate tonight.

16. She basically seemed like she was the Preznit.
Edited on Tue Oct-30-07 09:47 PM by liberalmuse
She seems to approach the office of the Presidency in a more realistic way than most of the candidates. She seems like she is aware of the mess the next President is going to inherit. She stood firm, and none of the attacks touched her. This is the truth as I saw it tonight. I'm voting for Kucinich, because he represents me, but I know most Americans don't share my very liberal views. I really wish I could lie to myself and believe that someone, ANYONE else won tonight, but that would be a lie.

22. We live in parallel universes. This was HRC's worst performance.
She got a little hyped and gave poor answers. Sometimes defensive. :(

13. Hillary can do no wrong! But then, look who the M$M are....
and who they have been priming the American public to be the next D candidate.

Ever since the weekend following the 2004 election, all Rebug pundits have been gung-ho Hillary '08. They would love to see her be the nominee because they know she will never win.

I, personally, would love to see a female President, but not a corporate Clinton.

14. Hillary won. They'll say that, reluctantly.
They were so hoping she'd get knocked down tonight. They did everything they could to provoke Obama and Edwards into non-stop attacks on her leading up to the debate. Unfortunately Edwards and Obama were respectful and reasonable in their challenges to Hillary.

They should also point out that Edwards did well, and I'm sure Joe Biden's attack on the wretched Guiliani will get alot of play, as well it should.

26. Who are you kidding? IMO, they are shoving HRC down our throats.
She would have had to literally shed blood on-stage for them to give HRC one bad review ... well until one minute after if she's the Democratic Nominee.

23. they decided this before the debates took place...
if the GOP only speaks of Hillary when they talk about next years elections, shouldn't it be obvious that the media is going to report that she won the debates?

personally, i think that getting Hillary into the democratic spot would be encouraging third party candidates to run in crucial states (yes, i know. terribly original opinion)

there's plenty of time though - and i for one hope that she gets knocked out of the running. as far as i'm concerned she's just as much of a republican as george bush.

the only difference is that instead of giving side interest groups (like big business) political office (and therefore direct political influence)she'll shake hands with them behind her back.

ugh. carpetbagger.

24. Forgive me, but Bill Richardson is a "HRC kiss up" and it does not play well.
I'm so glad he's able to do well diplomacy-wise but this is so transparent. "Hillary, please please please make me Vice President when you win? Remember Me ... Please ... Hillary?"
