Fox heralds Bush as a World Series ‘hero.’
I really needed a story like this to wake me up on a Monday morning

Last night, Fox aired a montage prior its airing of the Red Sox/Rockies game that celebrated great moments in World Series history. “The story of the World Series is told in seven chapters,” the narrator said, “each with their old tale, each with their own hero. These stories take us back in time to the place where we witnessed greatness.” Fox highlighted famous individual accomplishments by baseball icons in World Series history — such as Kirk Gibson’s game-winnning homerun in 1988 and Babe Ruth’s “called shot” in the 1932 World Series. Fox also deemed President Bush’s first pitch in Game 3 of the 2001 World Series worthy of inclusion.

In the segment, actors playing firemen gather around the television to laud Bush for “wearing our uniform” and watch in awe as Bush throws “a strike.”

7. Only Fox
Bush throwing a strike is not a great series moment. Historians will scoff at all the hijinks this administration has done. This is one more example of Bush "playing a role."

"Look, Mamma and Pickles, I'm a big league pitcher," exclaimed Curious George.

"That's good George," chimed the drug induced women.

11. Propoganda
Just sickening. This crap just makes me so angry that there could be anyone still trolling for that dipshit who broke our country.

Pure partisan propoganda. Bush didn't belong in that montage at all. Anyone who knows anything about baseball history wouldn't even rank that in the top twenty moments. Or fifty. Or maybe even a hundred.

How bout Maz's game winning home run in game seven of the 60' series. Yeah, I'm from Pittsburgh, but I wasn't born at the time...that was epic.

30. I saw that last night and wanted to vomit...
I HATE that Fox has the rights to postseason baseball. Not only are they a mouthpiece for our overlords but Joe Buck is a nauseating POS and almost everything Tim McCarver has to say is wrong. He can't even keep the players straight.

And as an aside, if I see that Kirk Gibson HR one...more...time...my head will explode. Tragic year, 1988.
