The absolute height of Wingnuttery

Wingnuts are something of an enigma to me. I don't know why I obsess about them at times, but it is so interesting to see them in action. They will say things like SCHIP is an illegal immigration issue, and some people will believe it.

One of the funniest wingnut moments I can recall is when Tom Delay, at the Young Republicans convention said that abortion affects conservatives when it comes to illegal immigration. The whole video is here, where Max Blumenthal visits the convention and proves what chickenhawks most of the young republicans really are.

His comment occurs at about 3:48 into the video. I mean, how the hell does Tom Delay say things that he does an get away with them? This guy was house majority leader??? WTF??? It's like I am living in the twilight zone when I come across these guys. Some of these guys are supposed to be our leaders! And that's the reason I am utterly fascinated by wingnuts. Sometimes I go to Tomdelay.com to see what crap they are spouting this week. I like to argue with wingnuts on the comments boards.

Okay, that is not really the height of wingnuttery, that's more of Romney being a wingnut and Giuliani smacking him down HARD for it. But I believe this essay about the above debate is.
