Dear Pete Stark, thanks-
Oh, for nothing. You've joined the ranks of Democratic back peddlers. Yes, I realize you were shanked by Pelosi and Hoyer, but you should have known, Instead you read from the democratic playbook, you folded.

1. He could have stood behind what he said on Friday
that he would never apologize. Instead he wussed out.

2. are you suprised?
It neverfails. Did Cheney apologize to Pat Leahy for telling him to F himself? No they said he felt better. The dems are losing me fast.

3. Sigh... I had hopes anyway.
One brief shining moment of staunch, steely backbone. I wrote a piece on it that got into OpEdNews:

5. We're defending the office, not the man. Stark made a mistake
and did the right thing ... apologizing to the president and his family, not *.

7. There's a way to say anything ... properly. It was simply the wrong
place and he addressed the office, not the man. We all feel contempt for * ... but some of us want the next president to be respected.
