Extraordinary Rendition = WH kidnapping
Amy Goodman just said this, RE: Canadian Maher Arar's rendition to Syria and torture for 10 months.
She's interviewing Jerry Nadler who heard Arar testify in the House recently via videophone because the man is not allowed into the US (even though politicians requested his presence). Nadler says they'd classify this as a crime, except it already is.
But Nadler doesn't think these actions - torture, extraordinary rendition - are impeachable? I'm not getting these people.
