I'd honesty rather the Democrats be spineless wimps
Then be spineless wimps who suddenly develop courage, get our hopes up, and then crush them with the sort of cowardice we saw today.

What an awful day. I don't even know how Stark will ever be able to show his face again after that pathetic blubberfest. :-(

2. Personally, I think his first statement was over the top
It was over the top for the House floor.

Not over the top for my living room or the bar down the street.

But for the decorum of the House floor, a better choice of words would have been appropriate.

I agree with what he said, don't get me wrong.

I just think everyone's getting their pants in a knot because they are frustrated, as I am.

But hey,

Just my 2 cents....

4. As over the top as "Go Fuck Yourself"?
He spoke his mind and was chasitised for it. Expect it to happen again, and again, and again...

5. It was blunt but so what?
Being polite hasn't gotten us anywhere.

I may not have used the word "amused" but I sure as hell think Bush doesn't respect the troops or gives a shit about them.

6. Like I said, I agreed with his statements.....
And with your sentiments, but the House floor is not the place for it.

Period.

Congress is a place to distill, synthesize, crystalize and articulate the people's voice with civility.

It's only the place where the words were spoke that I have a problem with, not the words.

3. Thanks, Pelosi...
I still think they're putting saltpeter into the food served at the Congressional cafeteria. I just can't explain the vast lack of courage and character we are witnessing in D.C. these days. Either they bend over, or they make others bend over (Bush and his grand inquisitors). Fucking cowards.

7. There's an entire thread going on "praising" Stark...
I call bullshit! I will NOT praise a pussy whipped "leader". He should have just stuck to his guns and NOT apologized. It is people like him who keep the true America down.
