1. If your in Hillcrest you can drop off donations at the GLBT Center
If your in Hillcrest you can drop off donations at the GLBT Center on Center street.

Also if someone calls you asking for donations DO NOT GIVE. Tell them to call back in two weeks - if they call back in two weeks then give. There is a scam going on already according to Channel 8.... (SD)

3. As in, we're not prepared, not even slightly.
My sister and her husband and the 28 cats finally arrived at his mother's house. My mother is going to bed with a high dose Valium. We won't know anything about the survival of the house until they're allowed back in. They've never been evacuated before.

I'm glad to say that the loving way they have lived their lives brought many offers of temporary homes, and a friend with a van came to help with the cats.

4. OH, so wonderful they are allowing pets too...
I wish I could drop things off, but Colorado is a bit of a drive to SD. Best wishes, San Diegans.

5. Try your local red cross
they might have been sending resources to SD and could use help to resupply.
