Hypocrisy Watch, Part 6493: Dems timing very bad on Armenian vote, but...
...it was cool for Bush to get down with the Dalai Lama, despite the objections of the country who holds most of our paper?

Am I the only just a little bit baffled by this? I mean, I think the timing of the Armenian vote was ill advised, given the very-current ME situation with Turkey. But was Bush's visit with the Dalai Lama any better? Don't we have at least a wee bit of interest in making sure China doesn't cut us off like a drunken ex?

Oh, wait...I'm actually thinking that Republicans are capable of being honest and reasonable. Never mind.

2. He can't frame the Dems as easily.
Turkey is ready to move on Iraq now, so the Dems are in a position to take the blame.
