Tucker is such an ass
This has probably already been posted, but . . . .

Anyone watch Maher this past Friday (or a rerun) and not think otherwise?

He just refuses to let Krugman or Joy get a word in . . .

What a jerk.

1. I saw him on Maher and absolutely agree with you.

He's a tool. I wanted to scream just STFU and let somebody else talk.

2. Appalling boorishness
It's the RW way.

Just talk loudly, step on the other guest's sentences and exude tons of artificial confidence.
By the end, Maher, Behar and Krugman all looked tired and annoyed. Mission accomplished.
These right-wingers are not interested in debate, only in shutting down debate.

I had to turn it off.

3. I agree. I was hoping someone would shove a sock in his mouth.
And the asshole wasn't content with monopolizing every breath, he kept trying to talk over people.

It was very disrespectful.

5. Isn't that their (conservatives) M.O.? When all else fails, talk over everyone.
Yes, he is a jerk.

6. Stop using half-words, please.
is the correct word when speaking of Tuckboy. He's disingenuous, refuses to get the point when someone else makes one, and ridicules the other panelists. I loved Krugman's comeback on this one:

Tuckboy: "You guys are all so paranoid....'the neo-cons are at it again'...you guys act like Bush and Cheney are like, sitting in the basement, all-powerful, planning this new attack, and 'normal people can't see it but we can' and it's so crazy it kind of makes me worried about you, you know what I mean? No, I'm serious."
(some cross talk)
Krugman: "The idea that the people who think that the Bush Administration is up to no good are still being called crazy after all these years of being right over and over again?"

And Tuckboy needs some collar pins/buttons. His mother shouldn't let him go out looking like that.

9. Those collars looked

like they were trying fly away from his shirt. The only thing that would have looked dumber is if tucker had been wearing a bow tie with those dumbo ear collar flaps.

8. Since I never watch the guy unless he's on a show like Maher's,
when did he get rid of the signature bowtie? Is this some kind of statement that he's making a political shift of some sort? I didn't say it was a shift for the better, but whose drummer is he following the beat for now or may in the future?

10. The only good thing about Tucker's show is the guests.
The people he has on usually disagree with him, sometimes strenuously. So it's not a total loss.

I'm glad I didn't see him on Maher's show, though.

11. I didn't see all of it, but I do remember him getting in Krugman's
personal space when he was talking to Krugman. When I saw it, Krugman was leaning waaaay away from Tucker. I thought it was very rude, but very typical. I also had to laugh at the collar on his shirt. What a dork!

12. Someone needs to ask him on live T.V...
... who was the "ridiculously WASPED-out woman" that accompanied him to the video store?
