WOW! I didn't know I was a "technothug"!
Did you? The moderator on WJ just read a newspaper clip stating that the Dem Party is divided by the regular Dems and the internet technothugs spearheaded by MoveOn. Damn! I'm 64 and I've never been a thug before!!!!

2. DAMN! I'm ordering myself a leather jacket today!
Then I'm going to swagger down the street, daring anyone to look me in the eye, like the proper TECHNOTHUG I am! Damn straight!

(Uh... If that's okay with you, I guess...)

3. It would make a great T-shirt! It's amazing how much the corpo-media exhibits it's

4. Ya know, you're right. I didn't relate it before you said that, but
they DO recognize how much of an impact the internet is having on the world, and are quite upset because they USED to be the only ones to be able to do that!

I kinda like the name! I'm a "TECHNOTHUG"! I'm a 64 yo female, 5'6", and 128 pounds. I've NEVER had the opportunity to be a THUG before! WOW! What great power by fingers and a keyboard can be!!!!!!

Wow! Who'da thunk it?

I've never even worn a leather jacket with gang colors, been arrested, or sported brass knuckles!

6. I have a leather jacket, but probably not the right style. But that's OK!
I would have never had the chance to be a THUG if it weren't for the 'net! I'm so proud!

11. Maybe there's a need for a short way to say
"peaceful protesters who confine their protesting to the posting of words on internet venues whose owners permit those words."

Then the essential issue (words) could be identified.

If Salman Rushdie had never allowed his most controversial novel to be published in paper form but had instead published it only on the internet, then would he have been a "technothug"? Inquiring minds want to know.
