1. Was something to do with a ban

on smoking at home in apartments in part of CA. Something like that anyway always assuming it was the vasceline joke about how to stop smoking in bed.

3. I saw several threads that also devolved into smoking arguments

because of the cigarette tax that would fund the SCHIP program if the bill passes.

And thanks for the chuckle. I hadn't thought about that joke in years.

8. Yes , memories of some wit and humour

unfortunately age dates us. That one goes back to at least the 1950's whereas the deodorant joke, for example, as in "do you want the ball type ? - no the one for armpits" only goes back to the sixties........lol.

6. I think it started w/ a thread about Sonic

when someone said they wanted to call the police on some people who were smoking outside a Sonic restaurant. The poster thought it violated their rights since, at Sonic, their car should be considered part of the restaurant.

Then someone let Sniffa out of the Lounge and he created a very funny sarcastic thread about it.
