1. i saw the blitzer interview yesterday
i'm glad he's broken with tradition and is telling it as he sees it is about the current administration.

2. Me too! I begged my parents to let me stay up late the night Carter was elected -
so I could watch the returns. They were Ford supporters and I was for Carter. I was in fifth grade.

:hi:

3. I'm sure it was a struggle for him...
I'm glad he's breaking with tradition too. Some traditions are rooted in solid common sense, fair play and correctness. I believe this particular tradition was formerly in that category; however, it's a whole new ballgame now. 'Tis a far, far better thing he does in this case. Not enough people are standing up for what is right. Bless his heart!

4. Different rules should apply to elected and non-elected administrations,
especially a criminal endeavor such as the Bush/Cheney Junta.

6. Yep...
There's a huge difference between "elected" and "appointed".

5. Carter is certainly not the first ex-president to criticize a sitting president
Only a few months into Bill Clinton's 1st term, the Republics dragged out Ronald Reagan to criticize Clinton.
