Police thwart another school threat

I got a phone message from the school superintendant this morning. This is my daughter's school. She's a senior. Fortunately the police were able to intervene before there was any apparent danger to any of the students.

Needless to say it scared the living daylights out of me regardless of the fact that there appeared to be no danger to the students.

Cant help but think of bowling for columbine.
Lots of people see that film as a gun control statement when in fact
Michael Moore was very careful to show that gun violence is more
of a American CULTURAL issue.
My son is a high school student in Toronto.
I cant remember the last time I heard a story about a Canadian student
shooting up his school. Perhaps it happens, I dont know but I cant
help but think that School based gun violence is mostly a uniquely
American problem.
In any event, thank god the cops got to this kid before he could hurt anyone.
Perhaps his parents should be sitting in the jail cell next to him.
