Just think of another issue that is on everyone's mind right now, where popular opinion is tending ever more strongly away from the organization's position, not to mention that the organization may be planning to repeat the same kind of behavior that caused the issue to develop in the first place. Has that organization ever tried to manipulate the media? Just speculating.
