I'm sure the Bush administration has a very detailed, ridiculous explanation for exactly why this is all God's will or Clinton's fault or somebody else's screw-up. And all the major media will have the usual gang of idiots (with apologies to to MAD magazine) on to run those explanations by us for public edification.

And not one of them will get the slap upside the head they deserve.
