Even husband-in-chief forgets Valentine's Day
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hey guys, don't worry about it. Even the man with his own rose garden forgets about Valentine's Day.
In a television interview broadcast Monday, first lady Laura Bush was asked how good President Bush is about remembering the romantic holiday.
"Not very good," she told daytime talk-show host Rachael Ray. "There's a White House florist, so they always send up flowers and he signs the card."

1. My father never forgot
Valentine's, Anniversaries, Birthdays... He always remembered. The only event he sort of ignored was Mother's Day. By that I mean he would slip each of us children some money so we would buy her something, telling us "She's your mother, not mine."

5. All holidays are made up bullshit
If you don't ever want to celebrate anything, that's up to you. But I kind of doubt it has to do with holidays being made up.

4. Color me surprised
I'd be shocked to learn that Bush remembers to put the seat down after he takes a piss. He probably has a staffer that does it for him.

10. I'd be shocked to learn he remembers to lift the lid before he
pees. He's not the brightest bulb in the White House, after all.

6. I asked my wife and she said she would hope if I were president I didn't concern

myself with such. I told her the same if she were in the round room, I'd hope we'd have a president who thinks about his or her job 24/7.

If she's really looking forward to a romantic dinner, maybe she should look to someone who at least appears to share common interests.

Like that frozen smile

Now there's a cute couple
