Hundreds gather in Lancaster to protest Bush policies

LANCASTER -- President Bush's supporters weren't the only ones prepared for his visit Wednesday to Lancaster County.

About 400 protesters gathered Tuesday night in downtown Lancaster. The shouting, banner-waving protest was a marked contrast to the silent candlelight vigils that have been more typical of Lancaster's anti-war protests.

In addition to opposing the war in Iraq, the protesters took issue with the president's positions on other issues, such as children's health insurance.

If you people were old enough you would remember the protests in DC during the Viet Nam War. Wall to wall people. Even standing on the statues to find a place no room on the ground.

Every place this monster goes we should follow with crowds and crowds of people. There wouldn't be enough police to hold them back. Since bush has decimated the National Guard he can't call them out to hold the crowds back. But the bunch of idiots we have in this country today sit on their ass in front of American Idol and let the country go to pieces.
