I *wish* I could take that poor baby away from the circus that surrounds her
People are crawling out of the woodwork for no other reason than to get at her money.
It is the absolute saddest thing I have ever witnessed.
I wish I could take her away from all that...sans the money.
If the same people end up "handling" her that "handled" her mother...there isn't any doubt that she will end up as tragic of a figure as her mother.

1. The only saving grace is that at the moment she's too young to understand it.
Poor baby.

5. FIVE months, and she never took a paternity test?

Between that and her "non-binding" commitment ceremony with her lawyer, my guess is that she knew that the baby didn't belong to any of them!

6. My theory is that she does belong to the dead rich man
because I believe (and I didn't at first--but have since changed my mind) that Stern is a manipulative man.
If the baby was his...they would have already done the DNA test and had the story over with.
BUT since they didn't...I am looking that they were saving the DNA bomb for the trial.

2. Greed does strange things to people. Imagine how foolish some of those men are going to look
after the DNA test comes back. That poor baby should be taken away from those people until this whole thing is solved. Let the grandmother take care of her until they know who the father actually is. Or maybe Anna's sister. She needs to be removed from the situation...SOON.

3. Agree! I was at my gym and there was Zsa Zsa Gabor on TV? How's she involved
in this? Wait! Don't tell me, I really don't want to know!

10. Who's going to be next to declare himself Anna's baby daddy?
Rex Grossman? Kevin Federline? Simon Cowell? Dennis Rodman? Rick Santorum? I've got it--Alice Cooper! He did a song called Billion Dollar Baby!

7. Zsa Zsa's husband says he's the father and WANTS the baby. He and Anna had a 10 year affair.

8. I wonder if the baby will have trouble
arising from her mother's methadone addiction? Does a methadone baby has the same trouble, I wonder, as a heroin baby? If so, the child will need caregivers who care more for her than for the half billion that might come with her. A friend here adopted a heroin baby who suffered all her life with nervous disorders and addictions and finally committed suicide -- a very sad case.

Maternal nonnarcotic substance abuse during pregnancy: effects on infant development.

Although maternal ingestion of narcotic substances throughout pregnancy has been of increasing concern over the past two decades in this country, the even more prevalent problem of use and abuse of nonnarcotic substances by the pregnant woman has received little attention. This paper presents data on a group of infants delivered to nonnarcotic-abusing women and compares these infants to a group of infants born to mothers on low-dose methadone maintenance and to a group of infants delivered to drug-free women. Nonnarcotic-exposed infants were of normal birth weight and length and had a normal head circumference; on the other hand, opiate-exposed neonates were of low birth weight and length and had a small head circumference. On the Brazelton Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scales, the nonnarcotic-exposed infants demonstrated irritability and deficits in state control. In long-term follow-up, evaluation of these infants with the Bayley Scales of Infant Development revealed normal scores through 12 months of age. By 24 months of age, scores for all groups, including the control group, began to fall away from the normal range.
