The USA attacks Iran...let's say
---

One scenario:

---

How does $10+ per gallon for gas and rampant inflation sound?
Will Iran sit idly by and cry about it?

First thing they do is shut down the Straits of Hormuz.
Then Iran lobs a few guided rockets into Saudi oil facilities.
This will plunge the world markets into chaos.

Of course the warmongers have thought about how they are going to fill their trucks/SUV's and pay for food and living expenses...haven't they?

4. Will China and Russia...
...sit idly back and let the US create another quagmire with their trading partner?

3. this may sound silly and un-realistic, but oil
is not top of the list of things which trouble me about the possibility of war with Iran.

6. i fully realize that- and that

is why i said it may sound un-realistic.

money has always been scarce in my life, and lack is something our family is very familiar with.

Having our country launch wars of aggression against others, the needless loss of countless lives (especially civilians) who have done nothing to provoke such an action

- the never ending violent arrogant behaviours of this administration,
the waste- - the fucking waste! of energies, resources, lives, potential- we will have squandered on another * crusade- while so many crisis' which desperately require attention : health-care, Darfur, our infrastructure, housing, poverty, famine..... will become even more critical.

Launching another war of aggression would give us unmistakeable evidence- it would be proof positive that this government is indeed a rogue state, one which threatens the peace and well being of all the world.

"Abit extreme" ? many people say so- nothing would please me more than to be dead wrong.

peace~

7. Good points, but they seem backwards
Edited on Sun Sep-30-07 10:57 PM by Truthiness Inspector
The U.S. would shut down the Strait of Hormuz, not Iran.
Iran won't launch missiles at Saudi Arabia, more like at the United Arab Emirates, and that general region to exclude Saudi Arabia.
Your last point is inevitable, should war with Iran occur.

Of course, just my humble opinion.

Edit: typo

9. I just do not hear on the MSM...
...what would likely happen if the USA strikes at Iran.

They talk a lot about if we are going to or not but talk of the possible consequences are muted it appears.
