Rev. Sun Myung Moon is claiming a "letter of support" from Hillary Clinton. I sure hope he's lying.

Moon, King Address Universal Peace Federation Assembly 2007

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Martin Luther King III, the eldest son of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., today appealed to more 400 leaders of the Universal Peace Federation gathered in New York City to make a new commitment to fulfilling the humanitarian promises of the United Nations, especially the Millennium Development Goals. The UPF, founded by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon in 2005, is an international network of individuals and organizations dedicated to peace. "History will judge our generation," King said, recalling the words of his father, "not by whether we did what was popular or safe, but whether we did what is right."...

Rev. Moon addresses the UPF General Assembly this evening on the topic of "The United States and the Future Direction of the United Nations and the World." More than 1200 people will represent all 190 nations present at the UN. Letters of support from Heads of State from many nations will be read, as well as messages of support from local political leaders including Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and from religious leaders, NGO directors and other others.

If, as is almost surely the case, this "letter" was derived under false pretenses, it's a good chance for Senator Clinton to pivot and denounce what remains one of the most malign organizations in the world, not merely as a massive in-kind contributor to the vast right-wing conspiracy, but a massive supplier of some of the world's smallest and most deadly guns. Kahr Arms, according to this excellent feature in Condé Nast's Portfolio.com, is "run and mostly owned by a son of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, the billionaire and self-proclaimed messiah who founded the Unification Church and controls a sprawl of businesses presumably intended to sustain and defend his followers when the world as we know it ends. The gun business, along with food companies, real estate, and other holdings, will serve to protect the fortress and keep sinners at bay, according to former members, as well as supply necessary provisions after the arrival of the new world order."

7. Bush is a Moon supporter
ask blm, she has quite an extensive compendium of Bush-Moon connections going back many years. That's where her name comes from - "Bush Loves Moonies".

Paging blm...

8. Its scarier knowing she has changed her position on the war and...
the media is nominating her. We may just see more innocent lives taken because we the people cant see it and let it happen. Truly a shame if we continue the killings.

9. Don't believe ANYTHING Moon says
This is the guy who claimed Hitler and Stalin have "reformed" in the "spirit world" and now bow down to him (as does Jesus).
