They all know the Plan, at least one of two contradicting and cooperating worldviews, it's their basic premise of operation. What's left is dissing those not "in on it" and making a quick buck here and there.

For a lot of 'em, it boils down to Armageddon ASAP, complete with the presumed nuclear jihad. "Come Lord Jesus!" Yea, when the pile of bodies reaches forth unto the heavens themselves, the Christ will descend upon a staircase of bloody human flesh in glory to judge the living and the dead, and they and those very much like them will be "saved."

For the major players, the Big Picture is all about empowering Big Money, and financing Big Power. Their "Kingdom of Heaven" is the realization of corporate supremacy enforced at taxpayer-funded gunpoint, where all boundaries and barriers cease to exist for the transnationals, and the commons are completely dominated by wealthy elites. They'll talk the Godspeak, too, when required by political pragmatism, but it doesn't mean the same thing to them that it does to the rest of the congregation -- at least, not in the compartmentalized part of their minds where they hold the completely opposing set of principles that govern their day to day activities.

Why the heck would they talk about that big picture stuff? It's much easier to get good conversations going about the minutia, like the "gay agenda" or how intrusive government is keeping them from owning their choice of weaponry. Bring up either of the "Big Picture" topics, and it's not even worth discussing. The congregation doesn't understand the second picture enough to talk about it, the players don't really give a shit about the first picture, and neither wants to seriously discuss the Big Picture they have in mind for the planet with an "outsider". Why not? Because deep down in their heart of hearts, they know their Big Picture is cruel and ugly, and they are ashamed of it.
