I'm speaking about health care.

The UAW is on strike against GM and health care - particularly for retirees - is a central issue.

From GM's perspective, too, I should think they'd welcome single payer health care with open arms.

If the UAW comes out in strong and vocal support of single payer, will that help?

How about if GM joins them in asking for the same thing?

Any of the plans that call for modifying the status quo, while better than nothing, are NOT solutions. They just buy time and make for great campaign commercials.

REAL, fundamental change is what's called for.
