23. Tom Tomorrow has encapsulated the comments about Greenspan this writer has proffered on the DU
board perhaps a dozen times or more these past few years with nary a single eyebrow raised, yea or nay, to my recollection. Tis better to have shared your observations with others on a major issue than to have elicited an atta-boy or go-to-hell response as to the validity/importance of your conclusions. That Tom Tomorrow has now succinctly ratified my previous observations on Greenspan, however, give, in my view, some validity to my previous statements on Greenspan which often end: Greenspan, a name that will live in infamy.

26. Then let me be the first to say that you deserve recognition and plaudits.
I am very sorry that I must have apparently missed reading your observations, because I surely would have done what I could to keep such posts kicked up and visible.

"Greenspan, a name that will live in infamy."
Damn straight! Thank you for all your efforts to speak the truth. A far too rare quality.

Peace,
sw

29. Ratification that one is not a solitary loony gives pretext to try to excoriate
every person or entity who work to undermine what this nation should stand for, its founding principles, its Constitution, its three equal, but separate branches of government, its separation of powers, its separation of church and state, its equal justice under the law, its fiscal responsibility and fairness of the tax code. Those who support, enable, or shill for this administration are supporting, enabling, or shilling for a fuhrer rather than a president imo and we all must know what that portends.

30. You are not a "solitary loony"!

It's not easy being a truthteller.

That's one devastatingly funny comic.

But there's nothing funny about Greenspan himself.

12. Y'know, most people outgrow Ayn Rand by about 17 or so, but...
Greenspan sat at that harpy's feet as an adult. Makes me wonder just how "smart" Greenspan really is

I know that we are all better off changing the topic to college football.

Spot on, nail-on-head and every other cliche in that vein.

Why is it that the only places the truth is spoken these days are in comedy shows and comic strips?...

oh, and DU of course :)

24. Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich
Edited on Mon Sep-24-07 04:51 PM by Robson
I've only heard two Presidential candidates that have spoken out against Greenspan and the federal reserve.....Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. The rest don't rock that boat.

Bernie Sanders did a good job tearing into a smug Greenspan.
