Hey John, what happened to: "We simply cannot as a nation stand and put our troops at continuous risk of loss of life and limb without beginning to take some decisive action which will get everybody's attention". Or how about this: "I hope in the recesses of your heart that you know that strategy will continue the casualties, stress on our forces, stress on military families, stress on all Americans."

the only good thing I've ever had to say about John Warner is that he opposed and stuck to his opposition of Oliver North, thus helping to secure Chuck Robb one more term as Senator. After that, he backed "Macaca" Allen.
