Lieberman supports Bush's AG nominee

..snip

WASHINGTON — Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman threw his support Monday behind President Bush's nomination of Michael B. Mukasey to lead the Department of Justice.
Lieberman, who attended Yale Law School with Mukasey more than 40 years ago, said the 66-year-old attorney is a "wise and brilliant" judicial professional whom he has been privileged to know.

"President Bush has made an excellent choice to fill the position of attorney general by nominating Judge Mukasey," Lieberman said. "I believe the confirmation process will show all that to the Senate and to the public."

With Mukasey at his side, Bush told reporters gathered in the Rose Garden Monday morning that the retired chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York is a man who is "clear-eyed" about the threats facing our nation.

If Lieberman says its ok then its got to be good! :sarcasm:

7. Since no one is paying attention to him anymore isn't it odd
that he injects himself into every single thing happening in DC trying to get exposure. They should just ignore him, like he should be.

Wow, this is really coming out of nowhere! Good thing we have Lieberman around to viciously elbow everyone else out of the way when it comes time to line up and give Bush a gentle kiss on the balls* and promise him whatever he wants. Thanks, Joe. :sarcasm:
