Why would DLC want to Demoralize it's Base...the Populist...Fair Salary for Fair Work Hours and
the "Anti-Iraq Invasion" folks who want that money spent on AMERICA and not the FAILED re-building of Iraq in the name of Republican Nation Building?

Why is it no one sees what the Dem "Activist Base" is all about? Why are Code Pink and Move On villified by our own Dems...in the cause of UNITY?

How long have we been told..."Just Vote for us FOR CHANGE..and we will DELIVER" and nothing seems to change? Bush gets what he wants while some Dems diss Move On and Code Pink as RADICAL ANARCHISTS who HURT THEIR MESSAGE?

When will our Democrats realize that their BASE are the STREET WALKERS...the folks TRYING to ORGANIZE PRECINCTS and get YOUNG DEMS IN POWER to DEFEAT what Gonzo had going on in the US Dept. of Justtice?

How much more clear can the angry, activist base be...it trying to TELL OUR DEMS IN POWER....WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH! STOP THE SPINELESS COWERING...the APOLOGIZING TO MEDIA..and the rest?

How can we Move On...without MOVING ON?

16. Because the DLC you complain about has the money from the corporations
that many of you complain about and in my view many of you will do nothing to threaten these companies with boycotts until they get their office holders to get us the progressive legislation we want. Many of these companies also give to the GOP.

2. They're just as happy to be out of power
as long as their cash flow stays positive. They torpedoed the last two presidential candidates. They will try this time, too.

It certainly beats admitting they've been wrong about nearly everything, doesn't it?

7. Why does what Code Pink does embarrass you, though? What is it that
would make you cut off those folks challenging Bush Regime.. that would make you be antagonistic to them?

17. I applaud code pink. Those women shout loud at the stifling conservative atmosphere
Edited on Mon Sep-17-07 12:26 AM by liberaldemocrat7

I applaud code pink. Those women shout loud at the stifling conservative atmosphere in Washington DC. I applaud that women of code pink disrupted the testimony of Petraeus and Crocker. They did this peacefully with their voices.

However Code Pink too appears a paper tiger as they will not ultimately end the war with this.

The only way war will end comes from when the financial cost appears too much for one of the war monger in chief's friends to continue the war.

A boycott of General Electric WILL make it cost too much for the war to go on.

9. There are ways to criticize them withount handing the RW Noise Machine weapons
http://www.firedoglake.com/2007/09/15/note-to-elizabeth-edwards-lay-off-moveon/

The war is a desperate mess. When offered the opportunity to cudgel your own side, you pivot and attack. How about, “glad you mentioned that…I think an ad is about as relevant to George Bush’s growing collection of toe tags as a haircut is to the problems facing this country.” Or, “thanks for the opportunity to discuss this, Chris. I personally would not choose the word “betrayal” to characterize General Petraeus’s lack of judgment or skewing of the facts to perpetuate the war, but I do think we should be looking at the fact that this was the bloodiest summer ever in Iraq and asking ourselves if the assessment we’re being given about the situation is realistic…”

Unless of course you are referring to those who work in corporate boardrooms and wall street executive suites.

13. Because
the DLC would rather see a Republican WIN instead of a REAL Democrat.
The DLC and the Republican Party are owned by the same people.

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

”Unlike other candidates, I am not funded by those corporate interests.
I owe them no loyalty, and they have no influence over me or my policies.”
