Any march veterans want to give an estimate of the size?

I've seen lowballs that say 5-6K and a high of 100K. I wasn't there yesterday but I've been to many events on the mall over the last 35 years and from looking at the pictures I would guess 20-30K. But I haven't seen any arial photos. Has anyone posted one?

4. Like you, I've been at this a fairly

long time, and I've never been good at estimating. I was there yesterday with the family. My 14 year-old estimated "about a half a million." My wife wondered "where the hell did everyone disappear to." There was, it seems, a lot of drifting in and out; still, I would say low estimate 50K - very high estimate 75.

5. Blatant self kick

Just to see if some tired marchers may just be getting home and logging in.

6. Due to the fact that my body doesn't travel well, I had to forgo

a trip to DC, but stand in awe of all the folk who busted their arses to stand up for the country and the terribly misspent military.
I have been catching cspan, off and on, today, to get a chance to see some of it.

Those poor, tired, logic challenged speakers for the other show, calling themselves the rape of the eagles or some such travesty, keep on talking and talking. I can stand about a minute and a half before I start throwing up. Good thing--it saves on tvs and general wear and tear.

I keep switching over to check if they are going to run the real rally and protest. The real pisser was that the cspin crew advertised the groping of the eagle scouts as the real thing and the peace protest as a sort of 'also ran' protest of the warmongers' get together.
