1. Thanks for the update...
I can't even watch the news anymore and I'm a Mass Comm major. How sad is that? It's the most sensationalized drudge ever not based in any realm of reality. Fair and balanced is an oxymoronic statement. Life is not fair, neither is the news...nor is it balanced. There are no scales just opinion written off as to be fact. How many protesters were really arrested? Who the hell knows! The media doesn't. Accuracy is supposed to be a part of the media...they just sling numbers around like they're nothing. What if 1190 protesters were arrested...would that make the story different? Sure it would. People might actually see that there are a lot of pissed off people willing to go to jail.

190? They don't even know the number. More than 190 could be 191 it could be 10,000. If you're not going to county accurately don't count.
