2. Figures don't lie....

... but liars can figure.

His point about needing twice as many roads, schools, etc because population grew at twice the rate is a perfect example. Nothing but concerned looks and silence from the audience, and I was expecting a "Hey, wait a minute..." from *someone*.

We have too few children to replace ourselves in the USA? We'll stabilize our population along with "all the other advanced nations of the world". oh kay.
