D'oh! the police spokesperson gives OJ's lawyer a major opening...
The police spokesperson who just gave the press conference just said "The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is very committed and very focused on conducting a thorough, biased and competent investigation. . ."

He paused but he never corrected the "biased" line.

thought I was going out of my mind. Of course no one else was in the room so I didn't say anything...they'd have thought I was making it up.

Saying it was one of the greatest slip ups of all time. A good defense lawyer will leverage the hell out of that.
