It's the media, stupid

The media has created and continues to support the monster that is the Bush Administration.

Imagine a media that calls them out, every time, like thousands and thousands of Helen Thomases all over the country. A media beholden to no man, only to journalistic professionalism and loyalty to a free country.

If we could release the media from the clutches of the madmen who are bent on world domination, including stealing all the world's oil, the Republican Party would be destroyed, at least for the time it takes to regroup and throw the worst of the bums out.

The media can be our best friend. Right now, it is and has been our worst enemy. I think that restoring free speech in the form of a REALLY fair and balanced media would be the most effective and efficient means of change. They are the only ones who can really "keep them honest"--rather force them to start being honest.

I just read the post concerning Ashleigh Banfield--but one example of the evil shenanigans of Murdoch and/or his ilk.

1. As long as the MEDIA is owned and managed by the republicans

nothing is going to happen. Over 90% of TV, Radio and newspapers are Republican owned. The Democrats again let the country down when they wouldn't pass the Fairness Doctrine. And now the republicans are just itching to take over the internet. Which has been a thorn in their side, and has given the real news to most of the country. When the republicans completely own that, what do you think is going to happen.
