Tonight's speech and where we as a nation will go
Edited on Thu Sep-13-07 10:50 PM by nadinbrzezinski
As a nation. It does not matter anymore whether you believe this is a dmeocracy or dictartorship

This is an empire and we will pull out of Iraq.

mark my words

The fall of the American Empire will be sudden, will be surprising, but it will happen

And I can also predict the break up of the country into anywhere from three to five successor states

The USSR, that is prologue to our future and for the same reasons as it happened to them. This is what George and his coenablers, at all levels, have done

The other prologue to the future is ROME

Regardless, the folks for whom history does not matter... they have condemned this nation to the dustbin of history.

And we have enabled it, at multiple levels

Oh well, the experiment is over

2. I've thought the comparison with the USSR is more apt than that of Nazi Germany.

5. The problem is that some aspects fit Nazi Germany
almost to a T

but the oeverextension of the military, fit Rome, the Briths, the Netherlands and Spain to a T, as well as the USSR

But this reminds me of.... Afghanistan to a point

11. It is the people
repeating mistakes and not learning from their errors - Not history
repeating itself. Just the same mistakes made over and over and
over again. Just my opinion.
