~~If Freedom *ISN'T* free- it isn't Freedom-
Our 'alliance' with the Iraqi people is not without strings-it is not "unconditional".

We demand that they conform to our desires, or tell them they cannot count on us for 'support'.

That isn't freedom, it is bondage- (we want their oil, we want a safe haven for 'democracy' in the Middle East-) if they agree to our 'terms' we are "allies" if not- they are "terrorists" or "insurgents".

Lets at least be honest with ourselves- Our lies will not protect us-- will not change the reality, that thousands upon thousands of Iraqi men, women and children have suffered died by our hands-

People who had no way of ever harming us, or intent to inhibit Our personal liberty.
And as a result of this terrible action, we have squandered the lives of thousands of our own citizens.

"Forces of Freedom" is an oxymoron. Freedom cannot be forced upon anyone. It can only be held hostage by force- force that destroys the liberty of the oppressed, and the oppressor.

If we aren't willing to honestly let the people of Iraq determine for themselves what their future will be- what their 'ideal government' is- If we impose a way of life or set 'benchmarks' that are based on things we expect from them, aren't we just yet another "fresh hell" to a people who live in a land cursed by oil?
