These women were constantly subjected to slander against their dignity and integrity. It was hard to attack her because she was well-known to be a devoted wife and mother. Didn't stop her detractors though. She was also shoved aside in the later recognition of efforts for women's suffrage. Susan B. Anthony was lauded late in life while Cady Stanton was relegated to footnotes. I suspect it was because of her freethinking/agnostic beliefs. She dared edit The Women's Bible.

I call it the "Portable Free Speech Zone TM."

I consists of cyclone fencing installed on a frame with straps to bear the frame's weight so that you can both be in a cage and yet be free to move about.

Conventional free speech zones are so restricting because they keep activists away from the action. It can be so frustrating to go to a convention or a public speaking appearance by an elected official and afterward have have to ask someone who wasn't even there "Wha' Happen?"

An added benefit of the "Portable Free Speech Zone"TM is that the frame and cyclone fencing provides protection from batons and night sticks when the political climate turns suddenly fascist.
