On the eve of yet another 9-11 anniversary, the Bush Crime Family dispatched David Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker to spin the nonexistent "happy news" about Iraq to a joint session of Congress.

These two men, doubtless under dire orders from Darth Cheney, will attempt to catapult the propaganda and convince America that victory in the mission in Iraq lies just around the corner, if we can only stay in the fight a bit longer. Problem is, nobody seems to know what the ever-changing definition of "victory" and "mission" are any longer.

Victory is no longer defined as ridding Iraq of WMDs, that lie has been long exposed. The mission is not to remove a ruthless dictator from power, Saddam's dead and so are his kids. It's not to install a democracy or write a constitution. That's done. It's not to hold democratic elections, those purple finger stains faded two full years ago.

So what's left on Cheney's "to do" list? Make sure the ineffectual puppet Maliki government can withstand sectarian violence the Bush Crime Family created with its illegal invasion, slaughter, and occupation? That's one mission accomplished banner that will never fly.

So the only question that remains is how long the destruction of Iraq and the death and maiming of innocent Americans and Iraqis will continue. We'll discuss that question and the hearings on the program tonight.
