Sen. Larry Craig's Daughter Also Runs Afoul of Law

Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower said Howell was charged in connection to a June 19, 2006, "domestic related" incident in which she entered a home without permission. Hightower, who spoke by telephone, said she had reviewed the police report but could not provide the report or any further details under department policy.

According to court papers, Howell destroyed photographs.

But they were at her ex-husband's house. If she didn't cause any other damage, it's possible the photos were, ahem, extremely personal, and she wanted them out of someone else's hands.

Or they could just be family photos, of course.

Personally, if I had some questionable photos, I'd wnat custody of them, too. And they could always be used to blackmail me.

Or, who knows. Maybe they were of her dad.

We'll never know.

Which has me wondering if she's a woman scorned.

...According to a criminal complaint, Howell unlawfully entered the residence of David Howell and destroyed photographs of his (the pair appear to have been married, but the current status of that union is unclear)...

Now, here's the most important part: The incident took place in June 2006; she was due in court on April 9, 2007. The contempt warrant was signed on April 18--nearly five months ago. I wonder what went wrong--did she just forget, or did she decide to keep it QUIET?
