What, is there some sort of astrological conjunction today? Weren't the heat wave, that's for sure, these folks had AC.

44 in the heatwave, BTW. 8 troops and several tens of iraqi civilians in iraq. Sad that that's no surprise.

If I were paranoid I'd be putting another layer of foil on the old noggin. But I suppose coincidences do happen.

(Plus in the last week or so, Cheryl Spector, Jane Tomlinson, Edward McGaffigan Junior, Justice Pamela Minzner, all from cancer. A vatican police officer, that republican party dude in Florida, from murder/suicide.)

Well I guess you could come up with death lists of important people any day/week. Just today the reaper had a taste for visible public figures I guess.

1. Luciano Pavarotti is in serious condition as well.

He has been in hospice care and is home now at his villa. He has pancreatic cancer.

2. Pity, that...

My dad died from that. It's not a good scene.

I just thought it wouldn't be appropriate to list him alongside the deceased *quite* yet.
