Why does it seem like the third act of a Godfather movie?
Hate to sound paranoid, but a GOP senator leaves in disgrace...a GOP congressman found dead, three men shot to death in Florida with GOP connections... More to come that we don't know about? What is happening that might connect these seemingly unconnected events? Maybe we should look to Don Fredo Thompson for answers?

2. Who are the "others" mentioned in this year old article ?
Edited on Wed Sep-05-07 02:18 PM by EVDebs
"It's all part of a growing ongoing investigation into corruption in defense and intelligence contracts, which already has sent former Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham to prison and, legal sources say, may threaten others in Congress and the CIA."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12634250/

Why did it take Larry Flynt and Dan Moldea to out Vitter and why didn't M$M break the story first ? They all had the same information and media has better resources. Why the 'wait' on putting out any further info on this NBC story ? Perhaps NBC's ownership by GE which has a stake in the Iraq fiasco via defense related companies it owns...ABC/Disney is in a similar bind along with the rest of big media.

6. Hey you asked who at the CIA and in Congress...
I told you. Foggo's the CIA link, and he was indicted in Feb. 2007.

There are definitely unindicted congressmen related to the Wilkes scandal -- Lewis springs immediately to mind -- but it looks like Wilkes and Duke himself were the biggest fish, in terms of real dollars spent/received via bribes and graft.

11. Might be spooky, but purely coincidental.
The congressman who died was 68 years old, after all. And other than him and the three in Orlando, what other deaths have their been?

One thing I will grant the tinfoil crowd, though, is that the double-murder/suicide in Florida is tremendously suspicious. There's still no motive, as far as I know.

22. Yeah, the Orlando story said Abrimi "had a room" in the house...q
Other reports called them "roommates." I'm thinking Abrimi "had a room" the same way Sen. Larry Craig "waved" at a policeman in support of law enforcement.

It was Seth Tobias. He was a fairly big behind the scenes Republican. Accident? Maybe...

24. He wasn't a Republican.
At least, as far as his campaign donations are concerned. He gave $1,000 to Bill Bradley's 2000 campaign from his New Jersey residence:

Plus, $1,000 to Jimmy Carter in the 1980 campaign, $2,100 to Friends of Hillary, $1,000 to Hillary's campaign, and $2,300 to Bill Richardson's campaign (contrasted with $500 to the RNC for the 2000 campaign and $500 to GOP Rep. Jakobs in 1980) from his New York residence:

And finally, a few piddly amounts for Dems and GOP from his Pennsylvania residence:

14. He may have been a lover of the gunman.
First report of the double homicide-suicide was that it was a love triangle. Supposedly, McHenry was connected to these guys intimately as well as professionally.
